I purchased this as a gift for a friend who likes eclectic jewelry. It arrived and I was stunned with how delicate and beautiful it was. I simply changed out the ribbon for a longer ribbon with a clasp, and reboxed it. My friends loves it, and when she wears this piece as a necklace it really steals the show! We have an artifical tree so it was great to get a set of these ornaments of real leafs. They are made by a company called still life gifts and this is a very good price compared to the direct price from still life. This is a nice coating, you can still see through the leaf and the veins are highlighted. Of course no two will be exactly alike. The ribbon is very well done as well.
We were lucky enough to pick up a set of 3, slightly smaller in size on a 50% off sale at REI just now. It had this coating, a leaf in silver, and one in gold. Of the three, this is my favorite, followed by the silver. Truly special ornaments, highly recommended.Beautiful ornament! By goreygirl
