The disk is thicker than some of the others I have felt, but it is a little bit smaller. I like the thicker, smaller disk. On the front of the disk, the image of a tree with hearts for leaves is raised with a rough-looking background (the tree is shiny and polished). The background behind the raised tree makes it stand out nicely. Since the disk is two-sided, it can be worn either way, either with the tree or the words on the outside. On a thin box chain, but I have a similar chain that has lasted quite well with daily wear.
My biggest pet peeve? The grammar. The saying is supposed to be "A Family's Love is Nature's Masterpiece" but it actually says "A Family's Love is Natures Masterpiece" (no possessive apostrophe on the Natures). At this point I am just hoping no one notices because I don't have time to return it!Beautiful piece! By RxRunner
