I actually purchased these as a gag gift for a friend who said she wanted earrings for Christmas, but not too big :) These are perfect! They would not be my personal style, but they are pretty and well made for those who enjoy this kind of look. I don't disagree that these can look awesome when worn, or that the price is awesome. The only problem is in their quality of construction and QC. There did not appear to be anything holding the roots of the feathers in place except a little bit of tension in one of the coils. When my wife lifted them out of the package, one of the feathers just dropped (rather comedic if you'd been there). Easily fixed with a small bead of epoxy, but shouldn't that be done at the manufacturing side? And not every peacock feather is going to be perfect, but should you really use one where a 3/4 inch wide span of strands has been cut off (from the bottom of the 'eye' down to the bottom). These earrings are exactly as portrayed and suit the wild and wacky peacock in you or in the recipient of your gift. They arrived in a carefully wrapped package and thus were in the best of condition. I would happily buy from this seller again.
