I bought this jewelry box for my niece for christmas (she's 5 years old). My sister told me she likes fairies, ballerina, and lots of pink or purple. so when i saw this on amazon i thought it was perfect. i was a bit worried about the quality after reading some reviews on this box (as well as other similar products), but decided to give it a shot. The product arrived on time and in perfect condition. About the product - it is pretty to close the picture shown. It's a blend of silvery blue, purple and pink, with flower fairies printed on the outside. The cardboard is sturdy and I think it should withstand normal use. The inside is made of soft fabric (not velvet though), it's not super premium, but still nice. I think it's ok for a 5 year old. Once I saw it, I knew my niece would like it. What I didn't expect was that she LOVED it. After she opened all of her xmas gifts, this is the one that she carried around w/ her all the times. she would put her little treasures in the box, put it on a shelf, then take it down, look at it for awhile, put it back, and then take it down again and takes it w/ her to other rooms. The big smile on her face when she saw it was worth every penny.A big hit with the daughter! By DawnC

I bought this for a great-niece's birthday. Like a lot of little girls, she's into all things pink and all things Disney. Not being a huge Disneyphile myself, I thought that she would love this jewelry box. It's sturdy for a box of its kind, but I don't expect that it will last forever -- not in a four-year old's hands! I'm very happy with the quality for the price.
