I purchased this for a gift and then decided to make the quantity "2" to include one for me. I wanted a jewelry stand that accommodated longer necklaces so that they would not "pool" at the bottom. THIS WORKS BEAUTIFULLY. It is well constructed and sturdy. The telescope option to vary the height is a great feature. I didn't realize that I would "research" jewelry stands but I'm so glad I did. This jewelry stand is really great. It's simple, cute, sturdy, and doesn't take up a lot of space on my dresser. The expandable top tier makes it the perfect height for all my longer necklaces. I have several necklaces that stretch almost 21" on the hanger, and it doesn't even touch the bottom of the stand. I put my shorter pieces on the bottom tier, and they look great. I find that I'm wearing more of my jewelry thanks to this because I can actually see it--it's not stashed away in a drawer somewhere. I'll never had a tangled necklace again. This is even better than I thought it would be. First of all it looks much better in person. It's a pretty, polished looking metal. I have both silver and gold accents on my dresser and this works great. I also like how tall it gets once you extend it....it works great for my long necklaces which can be hard to store. So glad I didn't go for one of the $60 jewelry stands!
