Real sugar maple tree leaf has been plated with copper so that it retains its shape. The amazing filigree effect is the result of a unique manufacturing process removes some of the leaf while retaining the veins before stiffening and precious metal plating. This pendant is ready to wear - I've included a 2mm rubber cord necklace too. The rubber cord is finished with sterling silver cord ends hallmared 925 ITALY, lobster clasp is made in Italy and stamped 925. Leaf is approx 2.5 inches wide by 2 inches high. Photo typifies this type of leaf and metal plating. Size and exact shape varies as each leaf is made by nature. Gift box or pouch included, color may vary. Cord measurement is from loop end to clasp end.

This necklace was a xmas gift from my husband and i have never seen anything so lovely and breath taking!!! This is my favorite necklace! I did change the chain to a gold one because it looked better but that was no big deal! It is a little big but i knew that it was going to be. Would recommend highly! Granted the picture is only an example of what you can expect, but it is a little misleading compared to the one I got. It's a pretty necklace but it isn't as versatile with my wardrobe as I was hoping due to the size.
