This pin is much more beautiful in person than in the picture. The crystals reflect light really well, which makes them look like they are twinkling. The metal is tarnished bronze in appearance, which compliments the pin without taking away from the overall look. The pin is large enough to accent a sweater (and take the place of a statement necklace) but small enough that it doesn't weigh down the fabric it is attached to. I ordered this pin as a gift for my mom, and as soon as the box arrived I came back online and ordered three other pins from Fantasyard for gifts (sadly at the time there weren't any more of this specific pin left, or I would have purchased this one again). The pin is really charming in person and brilliantly sparkly--the stones definitely look like Swarovski crystals and not cheap rhinestones. All the colors look adorable together, but it's tastefully done so it's right in the perfect place of being fun and festive without crossing over into "tacky." I also like that the metal is an antiqued bronze sort of finish vs also being shiny. I think it allows the stones to stand out keeps it from looking TOO shiny overall. I couldn't be happier with the pin, and I wish I'd bought more when they were still available.
